How long until you hear back? See where you stand against the published distribution.

gov.uk shows you one number. We've been archiving it every time it changes — so you can see if 8 weeks is the new normal, or whether things just got worse this week. Anxious is fine; uninformed is worse.

Honest answers

How is this different from gov.uk's published times?
gov.uk shows one number — the current published time. We archive that number every time it changes, so you can see whether 8 weeks has been the published time for the past month or whether it just spiked. That's the actual question you have when you're at week 8.
Where does the data come from?
For UK visas: the gov.uk visa processing-time pages (outside-UK and inside-UK), parsed and archived to our internal D1 history table. We re-fetch daily and record any changes.
How accurate are the percentiles?
UKVI updates published times roughly weekly, so a 90-day window is typically only 4–13 archived data points. Percentiles are coarse approximations — read them as 'where am I relative to the recent trend' rather than statistical guarantees. They get sharper as the archive deepens.
What if I'm past P90?
On the per-category page we include an escalation playbook — the wording you can use for an MP letter, the UKVI complaints email, and where to find a regulated immigration adviser. Past P90 is when you stop waiting and start asking.
Will you cover non-UK visas?
Yes. IRCC, Australia Home Affairs, USCIS forms, and US Embassy interview waits are all archived already — Canadian, Australian, and US trackers are next. Get notified when they land via the slot-alerts waitlist.
